Avontuur Luna de Miel Chardonnay 2008 The wine has a rich golden colour with jasmine, honeysuckle and orange marmalade on the nose. The palate follows through with bitter lemon and grapefruit and a bit of fresh ginger on the aftertaste. A very full mouthfeel, although still crisp and fresh with a long, lingering finish.

Avontuur Sauvignon Blanc 2010 Colour: Pale golden straw Aroma: The nose is forthcoming with an explosion of tropical fruit and a slight herbaceousness. Flavour: Fresh, crisp citrus with grapefruit and gooseberries, following through from the nose. A pleasing, well-balanced mid-palate. Finish: Crisp and fresh, a pleasant, quaffing wine.

Aroma: Upfront tropical fruit with jasmine on the nose.
Flavour: Crisp & fresh with balanced acidity.
Finish: Full mouth feel with lots of lemon and lime on the palate. Bracing acidity adds interest.

Avontuur Dominion Royale Shiraz Reserve 2008 Colour: Full bodied, inky purple heart.
Aroma: Forthcoming with cigar box, molasses and hints of ripe purple plums.
Flavour: Interesting white pepper, cloves and cinnamon on the nose initially. This is followed through with plums and leather that add complexity.
Finish: Good structure and balance with a velvety finish.
